We are the Identity Health Experience team part of IAM organization, working on a greenfield initiative to bring transparency to our 1M+ Entra customers worldwide regarding the health of their business-critical scenarios, such as MFA, Conditional Access for Managed devices, and Compliant devices. Our mission is to provide near real-time anomaly detection for these mission-critical use cases, alerting via various notification channels and empowering our customers with diagnostic information to address their operations and ensure transparency. We are developing a guided diagnostics capability powered by Copilot, which provides mitigation for common issues within seconds, ensuring a swift return to business as usual. Our team is looking for a Software Engineer II to help support security, focusing on improving the security posture and implementing best practices for Microsoft's supportability tools to stay security compliant.

Plan, design, develop and deliver multiple end-user facing features as primary developer and technical leader across release cycles, various layers of the service stack and in wide cross-org collaboration Increase code quality and velocity by bringing in industry standards tools and best practices, related to end to end automation of every aspect of the engineering system Set example in security, supportability, usability, performance, accessibility of the product

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience designing, coding, and troubleshooting cloud-based software.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:

Identity / Security related experienceSoftware Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
