Description

The AI ERP Frontline team is hiring a Software Engineer II to help build the Scheduling Agent service, a key initiative aimed at automating two-thirds of field service scheduling by 2026. In this role, you’ll develop and support a global-scale services stack that integrates advanced AI large language models and scheduling algorithms to automate the work schedules of thousands of frontline workers. You’ll work with technologies like Kubernetes, .NET, Azure, as well as LLMs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft. The services you develop will connect to Microsoft Dataverse to support a range of Dynamics products. We’re looking a Software Engineer II who is not only passionate about service development but also fluent in the evolving landscape of LLMs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building LLM based features at scale, and using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM-based development accelerators to enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation. You should be comfortable experimenting with new AI capabilities, integrating them into products and development workflows, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. As a Software Engineer II on the AI ERP Frontline team, you will work alongside a team of service engineers to develop microservices within a scalable, multi-tenant architecture. You’ll be expected to bring an AI-forward mindset to your engineering practices, leveraging modern AI tools and frameworks to accelerate development and improve service quality. You will be responsible for:Design and build robust, scalable services using C#, .NET, Kubernetes, and SQL Server, with deployment on Azure infrastructure.Integrate the latest LLM models into our products, create and maintain robust data sets and test suites for model evaluation, design and implement experiments and potentially fine-tune models to ensure we deliver high quality agent features to customers.Utilize and leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI) for development and test automation.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and researchers to gather requirements and inform AI-Agents and service design.Apply engineering best practices to ensure maintainability, performance, and reliability across services.Contribute to API design and microservice architecture, with a focus on scalable and supportable service patterns.Embrace code reviews as a learning and quality assurance tool, both giving and receiving constructive feedback.Work effectively across disciplines and levels, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform is a plus, though not required.Embody our culture and values



Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.1+ Experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance software development workflows, and supporting the implementation or integration of LLM-based solutions.1+ Experience with services development, tools & frameworks preferred Azure cloud experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Object Oriented languages such as C# and JavaExperience with AI Agent Development using LLMs such as GPT-4o, GPT-5, Claude 4.1 Opus, Gemini 2.5, LLama 3 etc.Experience with Azure services development.Previous experience building, deploying and managing enterprise services at scale in production environments, demonstrating knowledge of creating scalable microservice based solutions is a plus.Ability to analyze requirements, break down complex problems, and design elegant solutions.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
