Description
Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.We are the core platform and partner experience team under the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization. Our team builds the foundational layers and core building blocks to support our growing Cloud Supply Chain needs and leveraged by multiple other teams within Microsoft.
As a Software Engineer II, you will help us design and build solutions to efficiently onboard external partners into Microsoft supply chain ecosystem at scale in a cost-effective manner. Develop scalable, resilient, and reliable next generation Supply chain services. Collaborate closely with our partner teams in enabling new capabilities through experimentation and innovation. Identify and investigate new technologies, prototype and test solutions for supply chain engineering that optimize cost, consumption, and delight customers with increased efficiency. Combine broad and deep knowledge of relevant business domains with the ability to synthesize a wide range of requirements to make significant contributions to the supply chain Inventory management services with technical excellence. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.2+ years track record of delivering high quality software components in .NET, Angular, React, C# and micro-front-end architecture.1+ year experience with REST, service-oriented architecture, and cloud services. 1+ year experience with Azure or AWS stack.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to analyze and solve hard problems. Effective team member and a good communicator. Experience in building and designing platform and frameworks at scale.Knowledge of working with SAP or integrating with SAP (preferred, but not required). Ability to drive large, complex programs and solutions. Experience in Microsoft SharePoint technology to create webparts. Inherently curious, energized by large challenges, and interested in making a significant impact on a globally scaled business.Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
