Develop, test, and maintain robust, reliable, and highly distributed software systems using the latest technologies Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements, contribute to product definition, scoping, and detailed specification. Write high-quality code, perform unit testing, and integrate software into larger systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions. Break down work items into tasks, estimate development costs, and continuously improve development processes. Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system/product features for degradation or downtime and restore functionality as needed. Contribute to the design and architecture of new services, leveraging modern AI tools and cloud technologies. Remain current in skills and proactively seek new knowledge to improve product reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Computer Science or related technical discipline,  OR equivalent experience.  Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing and maintaining high-performance, highly available, and reliable services. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), scalable web services, REST APIs, and modern UX technologies (Angular, React). Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance engineering effectiveness, coupled with a strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
