 The Business applications that are part of Dynamics and Power Platform suite represent a multi-billion-dollar business at Microsoft. Business Applications from Microsoft cover a wide range of applications – from business-critical ERP and CRM applications like Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, to low code applications that have unleashed the power of citizen development through Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages etc. For an organization, administering these applications is one of the most important roles and providing powerful capabilities for the Administrator persona to manage these apps, handle the licensing and capacity aspects, manage engagement with Microsoft is a core priority at Microsoft.

Power Policy owns delivering a suite of enterprise critical features used by many of the biggest companies in the world to secure and control their Power Platform and Dynamics deployments. We work closely with customers to understand and deliver on their needs, and we provide both intuitive front-end experiences leveraging the latest AI approaches as well as reliable, high-scale, and world-class service infrastructure. These capabilities must also scale out to support active usage around the world by thousands of customers 24x7.  You will be expected to work collaboratively within the team and provide technical oversight to feature crews, work through competing priorities, and solve complex technical challenges to meet business goals and maintain live site availability.

Our technology stack includes things like .NET Core, C#, Azure, Cosmos DB, React, TypeScript, and more, but the problems we solve are more focused on our customers and sound engineering. As a result, there are a variety of technical backgrounds that would allow you to thrive in our environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred qualification:

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
