Halo Studios is seeking a Social Media Manager to build strategy and drive day-to-day execution of Halo’s social media channels in support of franchise objectives and community engagement. You will work closely with the Community Team’s creative group, studio stakeholders, and partners to develop tailored content and copy to achieve desired outcomes. You’ll establish key performance metrics and use regular data reporting to validate results and make informed decisions in a continual cycle of trying new creative approaches, learning, and improving. Your ability to thrive in a reactive, fast-paced environment while also having a big-picture perspective on future planning will provide a foundational plan for key beats while remaining agile enough to capitalize on emergent opportunities. You’ll nurture and grow Halo’s channels with care and intentionality – inviting engagement, being a trusted voice of the franchise, celebrating a shared love for Halo, and delighting fans wherever they are at.

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day execution of Halo’s owned and operated social channels. Develop ongoing social plans and roadmap for posts including asset(s) and copy in support of key game, studio, business, and partner beats along with evergreen franchise engagement. Define key metrics and institute regular reporting and analysis for key campaigns and ongoing general social channel performance. Partner with creative teams to ideate and define appropriate assets tailored for the needs of each channel and/or beat. Collaborate with studio and franchise stakeholders to develop social campaigns in support of defined needs and objectives. Represent the voice of the Halo brand and maintain brand adherence and tone in all outward facing content. Ensure all outward facing content meets compliance requirements. Foster growth and maintain overall health of Halo owned and operated channels. Jump on opportunistic reactive posts and memes to delight followers and capitalize on engagement trends.Stay at the forefront of emerging trends to make sure Halo is showing up in the right ways on the right channels. Internally advocate and represent community feedback and player voice via social signals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

4+ years public relations, marketing, community management, social media management, or communications experienceOR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years experience managing social media accounts and customer communications for a large gaming or entertainment franchise with a highly engaged community.3+ years’ experience driving user engagement and day-to-day execution across TikTok, X, YouTube, and Instagram for a high-volume gaming, entertainment, or related brands.3+ years’ experience developing content and communication strategies and tactics to achieve business goals.3+ years’ experience defining KPIs and recurring metric reporting.Passion and understanding of Halo and the Halo community.Experience with asset production, building creative briefs, and driving asset content development.Other Requirements:

Community Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
