Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide and we are looking for engineers to help achieve that mission.The Cloud Hardware Analytics & Tools (CHAT) Team within SCHIE develops advanced analytical and tooling solutions to support and improve the quality of Microsoft Azure. We collect and analyze data across the full Azure stack, HW & SW components, Silicon development processes, and much more. CHAT Data Science, a branch of CHAT, provides data science support, machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions, and advanced visualizations to cloud engineering and management partners. We are looking for an engineer to partner with internal customers to solve Azure Subscriptions security related issues. This candidate will need to work with partners to understand security issues, prioritize work and implement solutions.

Maintain an internal s360 ticketing system.Prioritize backlog items.Provide customer solutions form an existing set of solutions.Work to identify owners of Tier 2 issues.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
o OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1+ years of experience with the Azure Platform.
Experience communicating across multiple levels and groups.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
ADO (Azure Dev Ops) management experience.Firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle.Knowledge and working experience in data mining, statistics, mathematics is a plus.
Site Reliability Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
