Responsibilities

Ensure Secure Access & Compliance: Oversee identity governance for Exchange Online, guest lifecycle, and Azure Virtual Desktop while maintaining strict security standards. Drive Identity Lifecycle Management: Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory and Azure AD, including authentication flows, GPOs, OUs, and secure access provisioning. Lead Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalations. Resolve complex identity-related incidents and provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for critical issues.Enable Automation & Innovation: Develop PowerShell scripts, build workflows with Power Automate/Apps, and integrate ServiceNow/IcM for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), or operations incident responseOR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), or operations incident responseOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or preferred qualifications:

3+ years experience managing Windows/Azure Virtual Desktop or similar virtualization technologies within an enterprise environment. 3+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), covering identity management, application integrations, group and entitlement management, and end‑to‑end lifecycle processes for directory and access components.3+ years of experience administering on‑premises Active Directory, including user, group, and computer management, Group Policy administration, PowerShell, and structured OU governance.2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (or similar automation frameworks) and Power BI (or equivalent reporting/visualization tools) 2+ years of experience working with incident management ticketing systems and providing direct end‑user support.

Security Operations Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
