Description

If you’re collaborative, and eager to deliver impact, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Finance! We are seeking a self-starter with experience to join us as our Revenue Close Analytics Lead.As part of the MCAPS Core Central Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will take the lead on revenue analysis, extract actionable insights, and analyze market share data across all regions. You’ll also gather competitive deal insights, providing critical context for how we perform against our peers. Additionally, you will own high-visibility deliverables such as the weekly leadership flash, ensuring executives have the information they need to guide decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your network, gain end-to-end commercial business expertise, and develop strategic business acumen, all while driving meaningful impact on a global scale.

Analyze monthly end-to-end MCAPS close data, distill insights, and summarize overall performance in an accurate, executive way. Analyze commercial products' market share across the world, including deal insights by Area.Prepare our weekly and monthly Leadership Team Flash reports, providing critical insights to top management. Partner with the Central Finance Team to bring alignment between MCAPS views with external perspectives. Provide support to the leadership on adhoc projects in partnership with the MCAPS CFO’s and EVP’s offices. Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance, or related fieldOR Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field AND 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experienceThis role does require you to be onsite 3+ days a week
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in big tech, private equity, banking, or management consulting environments.3+ years of experience developing complex financial models and translating analytical insights into actionable strategies.3+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership, demonstrating executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate complex data and insightsCompelling attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.Proven track record of continuous process improvement and driving operational excellence.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
