Our Global Security Executive Protection Services team is looking for a highly motivated and talented professional to take an operational role in an industry leading protection program. In this role, you will be responsible for providing protection and protective management within the Executive Protection Services (EPS) team with a focus on life safety and operational excellence. You will partner with security and intelligence professionals across multiple disciplines and leverage Microsoft's world-class products & services to develop and deliver innovative and industry leading close protection and physical security solutions, while working in a close, team-oriented, inclusive, and diverse environment.

Provide close protection and other security-related functions for Microsoft executive designates.Develop and implement complete security and logistical plans for domestic and international travel.Act as the primary or support driver for vehicle movements; skillfully employing evasive and defensive driving skills to ensure safe vehicle movements. Responsible also for vehicle safety and basic maintenance, assuring its safe operation and clean presentation.Manage security suppliers in operational support capacities to ensure mission objectives are being met, including quality of service, delivery, pricing, reporting and customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with executive teams and public and private sector partners as part of EPS’s overall strategic plan. This position has regular contact with all levels of Microsoft executives, managers, employees, local and federal law enforcement agencies, temporary agencies, and MSFT suppliers.Be alert and able to quickly respond appropriately and skillfully to all known or perceived threats.Embody our culture and values

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

4+ years experience in Security Program or Program Management or related field.Other Requirements

Current passport and driver's license.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements:The ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.The ability to safely climb stairs while carrying 40 pounds.The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.The ability to identify and respond to dangerous situations.The ability to respond quickly and appropriately to sound.Adaptability to different physical environments and weather conditions.Bachelor's degree required or equivalent industry experience.5+ years of documented close protection experience with a proven track record of success in driving business outcomes.Successful completion of a recognized Executive Protection Course.Successful completion of a recognized Tactical/Evasive Driving Course.A certificate in physical security such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED)/First Aid certification.Proven planning, organizational, time management and judgement skills.Documented experience providing close protection internationally.Record of industry involvement (associations, memberships, etc.).Operational thinker and problem solver with proven analytical and reporting skills.Proven communication abilities to drive and maintain credibility, generate trust, and form alliances with internal and external stakeholders and partners.Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to transfer knowledge and inspire a growth mindset.Broad understanding of the corporate protective industry.Knowledge of and ability to use the full range of MS Office suite of products.High degree of flexibility and ability to travel up to 70%.

Security IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
