Drive cross-functional programs focused on Responsible AI, compliance, and security for AI and data science capabilities across the Microsoft Fabric platform.Define and manage end-to-end quality and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to Microsoft’s compliance and security standards.Partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure new features meet internal and external regulatory, ethical, and security requirements.Develop and maintain clear program plans, risk assessments, and readiness processes for AI and ML-powered experiences.Lead security reviews and quality gates for data science and AI features, coordinating fixes andTrack and manage program milestones, risks, and dependencies with good attention to detail and a bias for action.Act as a liaison between engineering, governance, and external stakeholders to ensure responsible delivery of AI solutions.Addressing customer pain points and leveraging the opportunities to improve systems and processesWork across multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) across divisional boundaries. Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ years of experience related to software development, preferably in ML/AI.2+ years of experience in a role managing releases, quality requirements, or risk assessments for technical products.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud platforms, data protection practices, and ML lifecycle tools is a plus.Experience with machine learning and AI technologyExperience developing and testing computer software and/or online services.Analytical problem-solving skills to address complex problems and issues Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, tools, methods, and processes from Microsoft and the broader industry.Proven ability to create clarity, structure, and drive attention to detail in complex, ambiguous environments.Experience or interest in AI governance, security, Responsible AI practices, or compliance programs.Cross-team collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
