As the Senior Program Manager - Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) you’ll shape the future of this community—defining how Microsoft empowers trainers to deliver exceptional, transformative learning experiences. You’ll combine strategic vision with operational excellence to scale impact, strengthen community connections, and ensure the MCT program remains a cornerstone of Microsoft’s skilling ecosystem. This includes aligning the MCT program with Microsoft’s broader skilling and certification strategy, optimizing delivery models, growth of the Community, and ensuring program scalability and compliance. You will collaborate across Learning Products, Training Services Partner team, and internal learning teams to elevate the value of the MCT program, build scalable processes and tools, and foster a vibrant, inclusive trainer ecosystem
This role is ideal for a program manager and passionate community builder with expertise in technical training, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. You will champion initiatives that elevate instructional excellence, enhance trainer experience, and foster a vibrant, inclusive global community of Microsoft Certified Trainers.

Program Enablement & Infrastructure
Design scalable systems that power the full MCT lifecycle from onboarding to mastery, integrating AI-driven tools, automation, and insights to elevate trainer experience and impact.
Build a modern infrastructure that champions instructional and technical excellence, aligning the global MCT community with Microsoft’s evolving skilling and certification strategy.
Use data as a strategic lever: turn engagement, performance, and satisfaction metrics into actionable intelligence to shape decisions, improve outcomes, and continuously evolve the program.
Community Strategy & Engagement
Drive a global growth strategy that energizes and expands the MCT community through meaningful connection, recognition, and innovation.
Turn feedback into fuel—build dynamic feedback loops between MCTs and Microsoft teams to co-create better tools, content, and experiences.
Ignite engagement by leading high-impact forums, webinars, and events that inspire collaboration and amplify MCT voices worldwide.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Build deep partnerships across Microsoft Learning, Product, and Certification teams to align MCT initiatives with Microsoft’s global skilling priorities.
Champion the MCT voice in strategy discussions, ensuring community insights shape product, policy, and program decisions.
Collaborate with Training Services Partners to deliver a unified, high-quality trainer experience that reflects Microsoft’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Deliver executive-level insights through clear, data-driven communications and presentations that surface community trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsMaster's Degree or equivalent AND/OR 3+ years experience in Learning and Development, Technical Education, Business OR Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 5+ years experience in Learning and Development, Technical Education, Business, or program/project management OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in technical training, community management, program operations, and/or stakeholder engagement. 3+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Experience driving impact through data-driven insights, stakeholder alignment, and program innovation. Written and verbal communication experience and are able to distill complexity into clarity for senior leaders through reports, presentations, and recommendations. Change leaderships experience as well as experience guiding communities, stakeholders, and leaders through transformation. Preferred Qualifications
Experience applying AI and data insights to enhance learning programs, community engagement, or operational efficiency. Experience driving innovation at scale in global learning or technical ecosystems. Experience in community strategy and growth, fostering collaboration, advocacy, and long-term engagement. Knowledge of Microsoft learning products, certification strategy, and partner ecosystem (or similar large-scale credentialing environments). Experience in leading organizational change within dynamic, matrixed environments. Curiosity and adaptability to translate emerging technology trends into practical program advancements.
Integrated Learning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
