MDC is a leading Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) that provides comprehensive security for cloud and AI applications—from development to deployment and beyond. It empowers organizations with unified visibility across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, integrates security into DevOps workflows, and delivers real-time threat detection and response.

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team in Redmond and lead innovation in key areas such as DevOps Security, API Protection, and Network and Identity risk exposure. to drive holistic and comprehensive application security. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the future of cloud and AI security and help protect the world’s most critical digital infrastructure.

Product Strategy & Vision: Envision, define and drive the roadmap for your product area, aligning with customer needs and business goals.Customer Advocacy: Engage directly with customers to understand pain points, gather feedback, and champion their needs across the organization.Execution Excellence: Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, make bold decisions, and ensure alignment from ideation to launch.Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Business Development to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.Data-Driven Insights: Leverage telemetry, customer data, and threat intelligence to guide product decisions in collaboration with Security Research and Data Science teams.Go-to-Market Leadership: Drive GTM strategy and execution, enabling successful product adoption and customer engagement.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.3+ years in product management with a track record of shipping successful products.1+ years of experience building cloud-native solutions.Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.1+ years of experience in cybersecurity.2+ years of experience building cloud-native solutions.Experience using AI-driven tools (e.g., for data analysis, customer insights, roadmap planning, or content generation) to accelerate product development and improve outcomes.Experience mentoring and developing product managers at various career stages.Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
