Description

Program Manager II and Senior Program Manager (Multiple Positions) -Windows Security Partner Enablement

Customers face a wide variety of threats in their digital life and depend on solutions from Microsoft and our ecosystem partners to help keep them safe. On the Windows Ecosystem Enablement (WE2) team, our approach involves deep collaboration with our hardware and software security partners. We drive enablement and adoption of Windows platform security protections as well as support for an ecosystem of partners that provide differentiated security solutions for our mutual customers.

In this role, you will work closely with both Microsoft engineering teams, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) who build security products on Windows to help deliver secure, resilient and compatible solutions for our customers. You will have the opportunity to help partners successfully adopt and integrate with new features including the Windows endpoint security platform.

Enable Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners to successfully integrate with Windows security features, monitor and track usage including reliability and performance measures. Advance Windows product improvement with engineering teams by collecting partner feedback that identifies potential gaps and areas of opportunity. Contribute to the creation of packages of reusable guidance based on insights from partner/customer experiences that are scaled to multiple partners. Develop and maintain program reports to track progress and surface key operational insights for partners.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years' experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., operating systems, security, application development), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support or cross-group/cross-functional engineering OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of industry experience with Windows operating system, cybersecurity, or application development. 1+ years of program management experience, including cross-group collaboration and demonstrating effective communication. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years' experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., operating systems, security, application development), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering OR equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience with Windows operating system, security, and application development. 5+ years of Program management experience driving multiple simultaneous projects with high attention to detail, including cross group collaboration and demonstrating effective communication. Experience collaborating with external engineering partners to design, build, or integrate technical solutions. This includes working across organizational boundaries to align architecture, drive joint development efforts, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure successful delivery of shared goals.

Partner Enablement Program Mgmt IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Partner Enablement Program Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
