Description

We're seeking a strategic and influential Senior Product Marketing Manager to help explore the future vision for consumer AI. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in creating compelling proposals and leading cross-functional teams through influence. The optimal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies and market trends, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable marketing strategies.

In this role, you will act as a key partner to both the Copilot product development team and the Consumer Marketing Organization. You will help identify innovative technologies that have transformative potential and ensure that our products are well positioned to win over users who will engage with these features.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on emerging AI trends and identify potential opportunities for product growth and innovation. Strategic Proposals: Craft and deliver compelling strategic proposals to senior leadership, highlighting emerging opportunities and critical market trends that could shape our thinking. Product Positioning: Define and communicate the unique value proposition of Copilot’s AI features to differentiate them in the eyes of our customers. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product management, design, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment and drive successful product launches. Lead through influence to align stakeholders around key initiatives. Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform product development and marketing strategies. Content Development: Create compelling marketing content, including white papers, case studies, and presentations that highlight the benefits of Copilot. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize future strategies and campaigns. Embody Microsoft’s Culture & Values

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the tech or AI industry Track record of creating successful strategic proposals, frameworks, and business cases Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across teams Expert level of analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Deep understanding of AI technologies and market trends Demonstrated knowledge of the Consumer AI landscape and/or products Experience successfully influencing engineering product roadmaps Enthusiasm for AI and its potential to transform industries

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
