Overview

Digital experiences are the primary way customers, sellers, and partners engage with Microsoft’s platform and products. As AI reshapes how people discover, evaluate, and adopt technology, traditional linear customer journeys no longer apply. Buyers and sellers alike expect relevant, contextual, always‑on experiences that deliver the right message at the right moment—across web, social, blogs, and internal digital channels. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Digital Experiences will define and lead the digital strategy for how the Apps & Infrastructure Product Marketing team lands customer and seller marketing across Microsoft’s digital properties. This role is responsible for establishing clear, AI‑informed customer and seller journeys, ensuring consistent messaging across channels, and evolving how platform and product stories show up digitally. This role partners closely with (Product Marketing Managers)PMMs, integrated marketing teams, sales enablement, and digital channel owners to ensure Microsoft’s Apps & Infrastructure narratives are discoverable, coherent, and impactful across external and internal digital experiences. With a focus on ensuring consistent and timely landing to capitalize on key product launches and marketing moments.

Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Customer Journey Ownership

Define the end‑to‑end digital customer journey for Apps & Infrastructure offerings across web, blogs, social, and other digital properties.Establish a clear strategy for how platform and product messages land across awareness, consideration, adoption, and expansion stages.Evolve digital journeys to reflect AI‑driven changes in buyer behavior, discovery patterns, and decision‑making.AI‑Era Digital Experience Leadership

Develop a point of view on how AI is changing digital engagement and apply it to content strategy, sequencing, and personalization.Partner with analytics and digital teams to continuously refine messaging based on performance, signal, and audience behavior.Ensure digital experiences are cohesive, modern, and aligned to Microsoft’s platform narrative.Seller Digital Experience & Seismic Strategy

Own the digital strategy for landing Apps & Infrastructure messaging with sellers, with internal sales portal as the primary channel.Define how content, messaging, and assets are structured, surfaced, and maintained to support seller readiness and execution.Partner with sales enablement and PMMs to ensure sellers receive the right content at the right moment in their workflow.Launch & Always‑On Marketing Execution

Play a critical role in product launches and announcements, ensuring a consistent and scalable digital landing model.Partner with integrated marketing to define and land an always‑on digital motion for launches, balancing big moments with sustained presence across channels.Ensure launches are supported by coordinated digital experiences across customer‑facing and seller‑facing properties.Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Influence

Partner with PMMs across Apps & Infrastructure to translate product narratives into effective digital experiences.Work closely with central digital, brand, and web teams to align execution with strategy.Act as a connective tissue between product marketing, digital marketing, and sales enablement.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.Expereince in product marketing or digital marketing experience Experience defining digital customer journeys across multiple channelsExperience in content strategy, messaging frameworks, and digital storytellingExperience to influence without authority across cross‑functional teamsExperience working with enterprise or platform technology audiences.Experience with AI‑driven marketing, personalization, or modern buyer behavior.Experience supporting sales teams through digital enablement tools (e.g., Seismic or similar)Experience operating in a fast‑moving, highly matrixed organization

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
