Description
OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to join the Surface Marketing team at Microsoft. This Go-To-Market role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in commercial sales and device product marketing who is ready to take ownership of strategic initiatives and contribute to the success of Surface devices across enterprise and small business commercial segments. In Surface Marketing, we’re not just launching products — we’re redefining how technology connects people to possibility. Guided by the era of AI, our work is ground-breaking: blending hardware, software, and AI into experiences that anticipate needs and inspire creativity. We operate at the intersection of innovation and storytelling, partnering with our field sellers to shape markets, influence PC buying committees and set new standards for customer engagement.
As part of this team, you’ll help execute programs and work tirelessly to make Surface easier to buy and sell every day. You will help define value propositions, shape product messaging, and support go-to-market execution at global scale in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
Field Enablement: Help prepare readiness materials, device seeding and sales programs, and support field teams with product information and marketing assets.
Program Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing programs for Surface products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Customer Insights: Review field feedback to understand customer needs and pain points, helping define value propositions and programs that resonate.
Messaging and Storytelling: Support the creation of product messaging, demos, and storytelling assets that highlight Surface innovation.
Competitive Awareness: Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform positioning and marketing tactics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, partner marketing, integrated marketing, and sales teams to support goals.
Marketing Operations: Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimization and learning.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
