Description
OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Microsoft Surface Marketing team. This role is ideal for a customer-obsessed product manager eager to learn the discipline of hardware development. The Surface PMM team contributes to the success of Surface devices across consumer and commercial segments through ownership of product strategy in partnership with Product Management and Engineering.
Surface is a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will support the development and execution of product marketing strategies that connect engineering to go-to-market execution across customer segments. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to hardware and software marketing, customer engagement, and storytelling.

Responsibilities
• Product Marketing: Develop compelling product messaging and positioning frameworks, including demos and storytelling assets for our Surface product line.
• Competitive Analysis: Understand competitor strengths and weaknesses to inform positioning and ensure Surface remains ahead of market trends.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, integrated marketing, and sales teams to align on product strategy and execution
• Surface Activations: Drive brand love and advocacy through launch events and in person activations and experiences. • Thought Leadership: Inspire storytelling that engages fans and customers by showcasing features and functionality of our Surface products.
• Continuous Innovation Marketing: Maintain a continuous drumbeat showcasing software as well as hardware in our ongoing key marketing beats.
• Support Field Readiness: Engage in product education training to grow field fluency and readiness for Surface products. Required Skills:

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements + Qualifications
Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on product devices and services.Preferred Qualifications
Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales, engineering, and other internal teams. Customer Focus: Passion for enhancing customer engagement and driving brand advocacy through innovative marketing strategies. Proven experience in leading marketing teams and executing go-to-market strategies.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
