Description
The SANE Growth team within the Consumer Marketing Organization is at the forefront of driving user engagement and business growth for Edge, Bing, Copilot in Edge.As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead initiatives that increase browser share for Edge, daily active usage (DAU) and revenue for Bing and Copilot Search, leveraging web as a primary engagement channel, and you’ll be responsible for managing websites like https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/bing/copilot-search.
This role also focuses on accelerating Commercial Edge share through onboarding surfaces and targeted growth tactics. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, and design teams to identify opportunities, run experiments, and scale successful growth strategies leveraging our consumer facing properties to adapt them for a Commercial audience, like Edge Welcome, Edge What’s New, and Copilot in Edge.

Growth Strategy & Execution
Develop and lead growth marketing strategies to increase Edge share, Bing and Copilot Search daily active usage (DAU) and revenue. Identify and prioritize high-impact growth opportunities across web channels and onboarding surfaces. Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and scale successful tactics.
Web Channel Optimization
Leverage web as a strategic channel for user acquisition, engagement, and monetization. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize landing pages, funnels, and user flows. Monitor and improve conversion rates through data-driven iteration and testing.
Commercial Edge Share Expansion
Drive Commercial Edge share growth by enhancing onboarding experiences and in-product surfaces. Partner with product and UX teams to create seamless onboarding journeys tailored to commercial users. Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with enterprise audiences and supports adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product management, engineering, data science, and design to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps. Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize growth initiatives and support execution. Coordinate with field, partner, and sales teams to amplify marketing efforts and ensure alignment across channels.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Analyze campaign and experiment performance using key metrics such as DAU, revenue, conversion rates, and retention. Translate insights into actionable recommendations and continuous improvements. Present findings and strategic updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsMaster's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.2+ years experience crafting product messaging and content for customers, partners and sales teams.2+ years experience experience understanding, enabling and enhancing web analytics capabilities.Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years after.
Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
