As a Go-to-Market (GTM) Product Marketing Manager, you will call on your strengths as a creative marketer, understand Microsoft’s history and existing product set, and interpret performance and research insights into new marketing opportunities for the future of web experiences powered by AI. This role is within Microsoft’s Consumer Marketing Organization (CMO). As one of the company’s largest multi-billion-dollar revenue businesses, the organization includes Windows, Surface, M365, Copilot, Edge, Bing, Shopping, and News. This Product Marketing Manager role will report to the GTM team for Microsoft Edge and Bing. Here, you will be responsible for leading and executing disruptive GTM ideas end-to-end across a wide variety of stakeholders to grow Edge share for one of Microsoft’s best known software services. Microsoft Edge browser share is critical to our consumer business strategy. People spend more time browsing the Web on personal computers (PCs) than any other activity in desktop computing. We are looking for a data-driven Product Marketing Manager  with competence in storytelling, and GTM, who thinks outside the box, that will develop and execute disruptive GTM marketing strategies to increase the adoption, usage, and retention of Microsoft Edge. The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing, GTM, and an understanding of the browser market. They will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing, and executing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth. The role requires analytical skills, a can-do attitude to decision-making and problem solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, across a wide variety of stakeholders and disciplines, earning the trust of and collaborating with Engineering, Business Planning, Finance, and Marketing partners.

Plan, lead and execute integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, increase monthly active users, engaged usage and love for Microsoft Edge.Think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions through compelling stories and user scenarios that win hearts and minds of our target audiences. Work with internal and external partners (inclusive of external marketing agencies) to drive change and execute strategies with passion, precision, and excellence. Be boldly creative, not afraid to break conventions, push status quo, and experiment. GTM ideas must be new and exciting, challenge the status quo. End-to-end ownership of marketing executions, inclusive of partnerships from ideation to launch. Live and breathe customer needs research and insights, with an understating of customer journeys and market positions in order to represent the voice – and needs-- of the customer. Create business partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders in order to devise marketing programs that drive business outcomes.Apply systems Thinking: to challenge working models and create more efficiencies and opportunities for more scale. Creative sense: deliver market and product insights that drive creative development. Strategic recommendations: Craft and deliver compelling strategic proposals to leadership – across Marketing and Product teams – highlighting emerging opportunities and critical market trends. Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Provide positive energy and ownership. Exhibit a ‘can-do’ attitude in creating smart marketing solutions aligned to business outcomes.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in businessOR equivalent experienceExperience with end-to-end ownership of marketing executions, from ideation to launchAdditional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experience.Written and verbal storyteller who can craft product stories for different customer segments and product features. Proven track record of working in an ambiguous, undefined space, and defining structure and strategy.Experience marketing global consumer products. Experience with web/search technologies. Experience with various consumer research methods.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
