That's why Microsoft is looking for a Product Marketing Manager – Windows Security. In this role you will answer questions like:

1. What are the security and privacy needs of consumers on a Windows PC, and how can Windows deliver compelling value props to grow end-user consideration and brand trust?

2. What are the core secure platform fundamentals and value propositions that Windows needs to deliver in the AI and Agentic era, so developers choose to build on Windows with confidence that their app and user data is always secure?

3. What claims and proof points can we offer that are compelling to our customers?

4. How can we drive the evolution of Windows security with next-generation AI powered protection through Windows and key third party partners?

A Product Marketing Manager who understands software development fundamentals, has experience working on technical products in a complex, matrixed environment with influential internal and external partners is beneficial. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager - Windows Security will leverage data to deeply understand the Windows customer’s current needs and preferences to make strategic recommendations, influence engineering to prioritize product roadmap and new experiences for marketing focus and enable marketing, sales and Public Relations partners to tell compelling customer-driven stories. Passion for security, technical knowledge, experience working in the developer community and/or with security products is a plus. Windows is a big business but is run by a small and agile team with significant impact. Develop product value proposition and product differentiation that will drive Windows consideration and brand trust.Partner with product teams to prioritize, define and communicate the right product features and experiences (e.g., new features, roadmaps) in alignment with a defined direction.Leverage market intelligence and customer data under guidance to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer usage, adoption, and retention of new experiences.Understand competitor strengths, weaknesses, and Microsoft’s unique positioning. Shares insights to interpret opportunities and risks.Understand how to build value pillars and collect proof points. Assists in building consumer/partner facing demo plans, product scripts, and sales materials.Collect, analyze and report product and performance metrics against established objectives and key results and business outcomes. Derive insights and develop growth strategies to fill gaps.Develop partnerships (e.g., Marketing, Software Engineers, Design, Services, Sales) to lead and deliver differentiated customer value and company growth. Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.1+ year experience in Product Management, Software development, Technology Product Marketing or Technology Consulting or developer evangelism experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
