OverviewThe Microsoft 365 Consumer Marketing Team is looking for a AI savvy product marketer manager to lead end-to-end marketing for Outlook. Outlook is Microsoft’s email platform trusted by millions of people worldwide as their essential tool for staying connected, organized, and productive. As a Product Marketing Manager for Outlook, you’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving product, now supercharged by Microsoft Copilot and cutting-edge AI innovation. Responsibilities
• Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for Outlook, collaborating with engineering, integrated marketing, and business planning teams.
• Partner closely with engineering to understand product direction, influence feature prioritization, and ensure marketing plans align with product capabilities.
• Define and communicate compelling value propositions for Outlook, leveraging AI capabilities to drive user engagement and tell impactful stories.
• Analyze user data and acquisition motions to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing tactics.
• Lead outbound messaging for Outlook as both a stand-alone app and part of the Microsoft 365 suite, partnering with copywriters to bring messaging to life.
• Utilize innovative digital marketing tactics to generate awareness, advocacy, and acquisition of new users, including building partnerships to amplify reach.
• Support key feature releases and launch moments, with a focus on AI-powered experiences.
• Design and execute tests and programs to drive growth, continuously seeking optimization and new opportunities.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to measure success and inform future strategy.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifiactions
Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience. 3+ years of marketing and/or product management experience. Experience executing marketing programs and campaigns. Proven track record of collaboration, influencing cross-functional teams, and communicating with executive audiences. Demonstrated partnership with engineering teams to deliver product value. Strong understanding of AI technologies and enthusiasm for driving AI adoption in consumer products. Background in consumer freemium software or services (preferred).
Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
