Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Within Azure Data, our Graph team is dedicated to simplifying the process of extracting insights from the vast scale of interconnected business data prevalent in every organization. We are driven by our goal to enable all users to visualize, analyze, and enrich the intricate relationships within their business data. We are currently seeking a Principal Product Manager who can engage customers, define and execute our vision of scale-out graph indices, and graph algorithms systems, enabling large-scale graph analytics data analysts, business users, and data scientists across all organizations. An ideal candidate is passionate about technology, solving customer needs and has demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience engaging with customers to understand needs and business expectations 5+ years of experience working across organizations and roles to expand and scale a product strategy

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience of graph user scenarios, graph database query languages, etc. Proven experience in a management role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving organizational goals

Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
