Description

The Xbox Accessories team is on a journey to deliver the best gaming accessories in the industry, for gamers to play on any device – consoles, PCs, mobile devices, Smart TVs, and more. A fundamental part of our Xbox Accessories strategy is enabling players to seamlessly connect their accessories wherever they want to play and enjoy a premium and immersive gaming experience. Delivering on this strategy requires understanding customer, category, and competition and then leveraging core product, technology, and business skills to define a winning approach.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to manage the product lifecycle of key gaming accessories. From leading the definition of new, innovative gaming accessories products that keep us competitive, to being accountable for in-market performance and the product line business. The successful candidate will be capable of leading multiple groups and teams on the product journey, driving alignment and clarity that go beyond internal goals and boundaries.



Customer Insights: Identify customer unmet needs, gather and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market research to inform product decisions and prioritize featuresStrategic Vision: Develop and articulate a clear and compelling strategic vision for gaming accessories that span multiple gaming platformsProduct Roadmap: Lead the creation and maintenance of the product category roadmap, aligning with company objectives and market opportunitiesProduct Lifecycle Management: Manage in-market products, understand market dynamics, take-in customer feedback, and work with sales and marketing to optimize business resultsMarket Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities, translating findings into actionable insightsCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineering, software development, industrial design, marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch and sustain through the entire product lifecycleTechnical Understanding: Possess a good understanding of relevant technologies, including those in consumer electronics, the PC industry, and general gaming technologies, to effectively guide product requirement effortsProject Management: Take accountability for the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope constraintsStakeholder Communication: Communicate product strategy, milestones, and updates to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners as needed, driving clarity and alignment on product goals and objectivesPerformance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and track progress against goals, iterating and optimizing as necessary

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

o OR equivalent experience.

2 years of experience working with consumer technology/hardware products

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

o OR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
