Description

The Exchange Programmability team is integral to the Microsoft 365 application ecosystem. Our customers and partners develop solutions utilizing data and services within the largest platform of its kind globally, leveraging our APIs and interfaces for this purpose.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to collaborate with developers, customers, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). The role involves assisting in the migration of Exchange Web Services applications to Microsoft Graph, identifying gaps in API capabilities, and developing necessary documentation or guidance. Additionally, the individual will produce code samples, documentation, and guidance based on these learnings to support customers.

The M365 Core Group is responsible for constructing the infrastructure, platforms, AI, and communications backbone for Microsoft 365. Collaborating with developers migrating applications. Creating sample scripts/code that can be used by other developers for their applications. Researching and gathering information from subject matter experts and other sources. Writing, editing, and organizing technical content. Using graphics, diagrams, and other visual aids to enhance the clarity of the documentation.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

5 years of experience with cross platform APIs (Application Programming Interface), Architecture, SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) actions etc.

Experience with RESTful Json-based APIs and common coding patterns, API architecture and design standards. Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.Experience in Exchange Web Services and Microsoft Graph API Communicate with developers and provide guidance/ suggestions for migration. Customer Support experience. Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
