Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team! Azure Edge+Platform [E+P] is responsible for Microsoft’s Operating Systems, IoT and Edge products, Engineering Systems, and Health Platforms that span cloud-to-edge and edge-to-cloud. E+P is the platform team for the company and the foundation upon which virtually every Microsoft product and service, like Azure, Xbox, HoloLens, Visual Studio, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams, is built. E+P products and services enable engineers to build out, deploy, manage, monitor, and secure Azure, Windows, and the rest of Microsoft.

Within Azure E+P the SKY team is accountable to improve engineering efficiency, service reliability, resiliency, and quality, by reducing the complexity of infrastructure solutions and tooling Microsoft Engineers have to work with. 

We are looking for Senior Product Manager with a passion for customer focused solutions that solve real-world problems and empower teams across the company. In this role, you will shape the evolution of Azure infrastructure in areas like Network Traffic management and Throttling Algorithm the company needs for critical “out of the box” protections. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders across Microsoft to gather requirements, establish scenarios and develop product plans.

Work with cross team stakeholders to gain alignment and build cross team product roadmaps. Work with engineering to design integrated customer solutions for technical needs related to 1st party Security, Compliance, and Standards. Contribute to program goals by prioritizing features/feature areas and orchestrating integration efforts for development and implementation. Develop staging and implementation plans for piloting & releases. Self-driven to stay informed of governance programs and processes. Validate use-case and scenario outcomes for customers and ensure we meet business goals. Act as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize feature/feature areas with customers and partners while ensuring systems meet quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a cloud environment.  Contribute to customer supportability experiences and provide/update documentation as necessary. Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
