Description
Do you want to work on the intersection of artificial intelligence, local business, a data platform, a consumer ecosystem and advertising? Are you a creative thinker who wants to innovate on how users find local places & services and scale that to different surfaces with AI infused experiences? Then this role is for you. In the Bing Places team, you will help us make Microsoft Bing the most AI centric search offering. This is a unique role focused on creating innovate AI experiences in the consumer search space.We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with consumer product experience. In this role you will work closely with both backend and UX teams to define new user experiences. Your focus will be on understanding user needs and how we will use content and AI to meet those needs. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new AI powered approaches to engaging users in ways that help them discover new places to eat, play, shop and more.

Deeply understanding customer needs and advocating for them through collaboration with analytics, user research, and design teams. Defining product vision and strategy that aligns with both customer needs and business goals. Partnering with engineering, data, and UX teams to drive product discovery, rapid prototyping, and user testing. Creating and managing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams. Measuring product success using key metrics and data-driven insights to inform decisions. Driving product delivery from concept to launch while continuously iterating based on feedback. Communicating product priorities and updates effectively across teams and stakeholders. Fostering an empowered team culture where ownership and accountability are shared. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric thinking.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.5+ years of experience shipping consumer products/services in areas such as web, search, apps, gaming, local business-related products, etc. Experience in using metrics and user research to inform your product definitions and drive continual improvements Experience and leadership skills in creating, communicating and driving adoption of product vision, with the ability to influence change and build alignment across teams without direct authority. Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills. Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-changing environment. Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
