Description
OverviewWe are looking for a Principal Product Manager to help drive the next phase of Microsoft Marketplace as a global commerce platform for cloud solutions, AI apps, and agents. In this role, you will own and advance critical parts of the marketplace experience, focusing on improving the end‑to‑end Find, Try, Buy, and Manage experience for customers, partners, and channel ecosystems.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of platform strategy, product execution, and business outcomes, translating Marketplace priorities into clear roadmaps, platform primitives, and measurable impact. You will work across multiple buying motions including self‑serve, enterprise co‑sell, and channel‑led transactions and help ensure Marketplace scales reliably as our catalog, partner ecosystem, and AI‑driven scenarios continue to grow. This is a high‑impact role with direct visibility to leadership and deep collaboration across engineering, design, strategy, operations finance, product groups, and with some of the largest software development companies on the planet.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a work ethic who exemplifies creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering success for their team. We value those who have a thoughtful point of view, love to collaborate, and contribute to the success of others. They embrace AI to raise the bar for productivity on the team, feel empowered to take end-to-end ownership, and are comfortable connecting the dots between business, experience, and technology. If you love building products, positively influence the culture, and willing to roll up your sleeves to solve fun high-impact challenges (with a reliable engineering team on your side), then this is the right role for you.
We do not just value differences or different perspectives. We seek them out and invite them in so we can tap into the collective power of everyone in the company. As a result, our customers are better served.
