Microsoft Dataverse is the secure, governed business data foundation powering Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. As enterprises embrace agentic AI, Dataverse is evolving into the **agent data platform**—enabling AI agents to search, understand, and act on business data across M365 Copilot and Work IQ experiences.

As the Senior Product Manager on the Dataverse team, you will shape the future of the agent data platform, with emphasis on enabling agentic business workflow capabilities. You will drive product vision for how AI agents access business data from Dynamics CRM and Power Platform, and partner across M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Dynamics teams to deliver cohesive agentic experiences that help Fortune 500 enterprises deploy intelligent agents with measurable ROI.

Responsibilities

Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for Dataverse as the agent data platform—shaping how AI agents access business data from Dynamics CRM and Power Platform to help enterprises unlock new agentic workflows across M365 Copilot and developer surfaces.Apply AI/ML literacy and data fluency to make informed product decisions—partnering with data science and engineering teams on grounding strategies and feedback loops that measurably improve agent accuracy and customer satisfaction.Drive rapid experimentation and responsible AI practices—leveraging A/B testing, prototyping, and data-driven validation to accelerate agent capabilities while ensuring enterprise customers trust the platform through bias mitigation and compliance.Partner with design and engineering teams to create an agent building experience that makers/developers love—reducing time-to-value for enterprises deploying AI agents on Dataverse.Lead cross-company forums and partnerships with M365 Copilot, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI teams—driving alignment that delivers cohesive agent experiences and accelerates Microsoft's agentic AI vision.Engage customers and drive external storytelling—translating research and private preview feedback into product improvements, and articulating

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Dynamics 365, Salesforce), data modeling, or semantic layers.The ability to empathize, listen, and obsess over our customers.Demonstrated technical depth across LLMs (including LLM APIs), generative AI concepts (prompt design, embeddings, model evaluation). and line of business systems, with proven experience leading AI/LLM evaluation strategy—including offline/online eval frameworks, rubric and AI judge design, and defining measurable quality bars for agentic tools and orchestration workflows.Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, research, design and business teams.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and clear articulation of complex ideas.High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias for action in dynamic environments.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
