We are hiring a Senior Product Manager.Microsoft is leading the security industry with enterprise and cloud-based security products. This position requires a strong technical background in general networking and in particular network security and our key security products (Azure Firewall, DDoS Protection, WAF, Sentinel, Log Analytics, Security Center).  Our team is at the forefront of this, with a technical focus on assisting our key customers use our security products to keep their most valued infrastructure secure.  We sit between our developers and our customers, and it's our job to create deep engineering relationships with the field, our customers, and our partners. As a Customer Acceleration (CAT) PM for Azure network security, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer focused product engineering and accelerating product adoption by our customers. 
 
This role focuses specifically on Azure network security (Azure Firewall, DDoS Protection, and WAF). The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical background in some combination of the following: application security, network security, network architecture, and cloud computing (Azure).

Responsibilities
Dig deep into the networking security technologies as a Subject Matter ExpertUnderstand the story behind our network security solutions, and present it both internally and externally at events like Ready, Ignite, Tech Summits, etc.Work directly with customers to guide secure network architecture decisions and to validate successful deploymentsRecognize our customers’ needs, how these needs drive adoption, and what feature gaps exist.Provide synthesized customer insights and requests to product engineering.Drive the customer story internally to lead the evolution of our products.Contribute to the technical documentation for our products, writing blogs, troubleshooting guides, reference architectures, playbooks, etc.Maintain demo/lab environment for effective demonstration, problem solving, and learning.Work with early adopter customers in preview programs to test new scenarios, gather feedback and triage issues with developers.Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program managementOr software development OR equivalent experience.2+ years technical experience in enterprise security and/or networking.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).Excellent Technical PM fundamentals: design savvy, data-driven, disciplined, deep and diverse customer empathy, passion for learning, can-do creativity, concise communications and PM persuasion skills.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
