Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Within Azure Data, the big data analytics team provides a range of products that enable data engineers and data scientists to extract intelligence from all data – structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. We build the Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Integration pillars of Microsoft Fabric.

The Fabric Warehouse team is looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Product Manager to join them in helping drive product strategy and direction through close alignment and collaboration with customers and engineering teams.

• Create clarity on the product vision and roadmap for Fabric Warehouse Sharing and Administration SaaS experiences

• Determine pricing strategy and run benchmark analysis in collaboration with Finance, Business planning and other stakeholders

• Deliver a world-class product user experience to our customers on time by collaborating with UX and Content designers

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends

• Advocate for the end-user, ensuring that the product delivers world class user experience and meets customer needs.

• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, field, customer support, partners and various product teams to ensure successful product development and launch

• Define, drive and analyze key performance metrics such as usage, engagement etc. to measure success and drive product growth.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Demonstrated knowledge in Pricing/Billing and Monetization with hands-on experience on pricing within Enterprise Software, or Cloud Services industryDemonstrated SQL experience (SQL Server, Synapse Analytics Gen2 etc.)Experience collaborating with UX and Content designersDemonstrated experience doing telemetry analytics and driving Growth initiativesProduct Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
