The Azure Experiences & Ecosystems product organization is committed to delivering best in class products to empower customers to build and grow their solutions on Azure.

The Azure Growth and Modern Foundations team is seeking a results-driven Principal Product Manager to shape the future of how customers understand and manage pricing and costs in Azure. In this role, you will define the vision and own the roadmap for cost and pricing experiences across the platform, spanning data, APIs, and user experience. This role is uniquely positioned to impact the full spectrum of customers — from fast-moving startups and self-service developers to the world’s largest enterprises with complex governance needs. You will build and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering transparency, confidence, and trust in cost management. Your work will directly enable customers to make informed decisions, strengthen their relationship with our platform, and drive sustainable business growth.

Own the product vision and roadmap for pricing and cost experiences across Azure, ensuring solutions scale seamlessly across all customer segments — from large enterprises to individual self-service users.Deeply understand customer needs by building empathy for how different audiences view, track, and manage costs, and translate those insights into intuitive and trustworthy experiences.Deliver transparency and confidence by developing features that simplify complex billing and pricing structures, helping customers of all sizes make informed decisions.Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, data science, finance, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions.Build and mentor a world-class product management team, fostering a culture of empathy, inclusion, and data-driven decision-making.Drive measurable impact by defining success metrics, analyzing customer behaviors, and continuously improving the cost management experience through iteration and experimentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.8+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.4+ years of proven track record of owning product strategy, roadmap, and delivery in a SaaS or cloud environment, with demonstrated experience building and scaling customer-facing experiences in cost, billing, pricing, or financial transparency.4+ years of ability to balance strategic thinking with execution in a cross-functional environment, supported by excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.4+ years proficiency leading and mentoring product teams to deliver measurable impact, with technical fluency and comfort working with data-rich products.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.5+ years experience with cloud platforms or enterprise-scale pricing models.5+ years background in data analytics or financial services products.Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
