In this role, you will need to contribute to cross functional teams by working closely with customers and partners using our products. Additional responsibilities include:
Drive building world-class innovative Skilling Products & Experiences that will delight customers, partners, Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) sellers, and future generations, delivering proven business results. Own the agentic experience product area and be responsible for understanding learner needs and behaviors, defining product requirements, managing end-to-end product development, launches and iterations. Enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-first, product development cycle. Translate business goals into strategy, user experience and technical requirements in close collaboration with UX, research, Engineering and Content teams. Define goals and performance indicators and measure success with data and research. Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers and content teams to build exceptional applications. Engage with customers and partners to validate hypotheses, gather feedback, and evangelize the product vision. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Experience launching and scaling AI-powered products or experiences. Experience with prototyping new ideas and managing the idea-to-feature lifecycle.
Experience driving vision, strategy and design for consumer products and experiences.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Product Manager for AI-driven, multi-modal, or autonomous/agentic systems. Experience working with content-rich products, including content ingestion, transformation, personalization, or recommendation systems. Experience managing complex, integrated product ecosystems with multiple interdependent components. Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, prioritize across high-complexity features, and align cross-functional teams (engineering, design, research, compliance). Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. Skilled in defining success metrics, running experiments, and measuring impact for autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems.Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
