Description
The Surface team creates hardware that delivers the best of Microsoft experiences. This team works across E+D to deliver AI experiences on world-class Copilot+ PCs with the latest and greatest silicon. In this effort, Surface leads the ecosystem in silicon choices, working in partnership with the rest of Microsoft to create and deliver the Surface - silicon roadmap. We are looking for an individual to join the Surface Product Team to PM the Surface SOC roadmap and to act as the interface between internal partners, such as Sourcing, WSSI, and Windows, as well as with our external silicon partners.This individual must bring solid program management skills to help create structure around our internal rhythm of business, information documentation and dissemination, schedules and workback plans, and internal/external communications. They will act as the go-to individual for information related to our SOC strategy and roadmap, including pricing, strategic positioning, and timeline. They will engage with stakeholders across HW & SW Engineering – within Surface, Windows, and WSSI – as well as our Sourcing partners, Product and Program Managers within Surface, and our Business Operations partner teams to synthesize the needs of all teams and create clarity for the org.

PM the creation and delivery of SOC-Surface Roadmap -
Scoping of silicon options available for our product linesHolding decision timelines for SOC and program intersectionBranding asks consolidated and considered.Leading ROB for Surface Silicon –
bi-weekly team reviews, regular LT update meetings, etc.Create a quarterly perf/compete update meeting for our products and competing products that extends across lifecycle timelinesDevelop process and PM the consolidation of Surface asks for 3+ year out silicon across subsystems.Work with systems & tools team to create a robust methods for having this information available for the right people, prioritizing security above all else.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Capability in verbal and written communications skills.Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
