The C+E Commerce team is working to enable an easier experience for customers and partners to grow, as well as to buy and do business with us by delivering a dependable, safe and secure commerce infrastructure.
The C+E Sales & Partner Services (SPS) team works on two major areas:
We build the tool chain for the Microsoft sales force to enable pre-sales, sales in New Commerce, Co-selling with Partners, and post sales engagement. We build the systems that enable the Microsoft partner ecosystem. Including the Microsoft cloud partner program, The New Commerce breadth motion or CSP and the systems to motivate partners to drive the right business and customers outcome.
The C+E Sales & Partner Services (SPS) team is seeking a Principal Product Manager to collaborate with team members and partners in an agile environment and work on high-business impact areas. The Principal Product Manager will help transform our go-to-market (GTM) by accelerating Microsoft’s transition of commercial enterprises from the legacy Enterprise Agreement (EA) to MCA-E across five key investment areas: (1) Per-User Services, (2) Software Subscriptions, (3) Software Licenses and Software Assurance (L+SA), (4) Azure, and (5) Financial Compliance / Readiness. The Principal Product Manager will focus on the Agreement, Empowerment, and Proposal Management services used to facilitate contract negotiations.

Technical / Role Depth
Developing product strategy and associated roadmaps. Driving and delivering features from ideation to launch which includes understanding customer needs, crafting product requirements, collaborating with design and engineering teams, ensuring the successful rollout of features, and adoption plans and metrics. Identifying gaps in a platform, service, or process that act as barriers to achieving the team’s objectives. Using insights derived from various disconnected data sources - such as different customer cohorts, broader market and industry trends, and analysis - to inform product development and enhancements. Defining the necessary data to make efficient, data-driven decisions, ensuring features meet user needs and market demands. Ensuring that investments in features and enhancements deliver the anticipated value to customers and align with Microsoft's business objectives. Articulating project status, blockers, and outstanding actions to all stakeholders, including senior management. Embody our Culture & Values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years people management experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
