The Commerce Engineering team team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager for Pricing and Offers Management, to solve business optimization problems at scale and help develop a new class of products and automation. You will incubate software solutions to large-scale business problems, collaborate and create clarity.

Technical / Role Depth

Developing product strategy and associated roadmaps. Driving and delivering features from ideation to launch. This includes understanding customer needs, crafting product requirements, collaborating with design and engineering teams, ensuring the successful rollout of features, and adoption plans and metrics. Identifying gaps in a platform, service, or process that act as barriers to achieving the team’s objectives. Using insights derived from various disconnected data sources - such as different customer cohorts, broader market and industry trends, and analysis - to inform product development and enhancements. Defining the necessary data to make efficient, data-driven decisions, ensuring features meet user needs and market demands. Ensuring that investments in features and enhancements deliver the anticipated value to customers and align with Microsoft's business objectives. Articulating project status, blockers, and outstanding actions to all stakeholders, including senior management. Embody our Culture  &  Values 

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. Product management experience from ideation to delivery, including any combination of the following: product strategy, business planning, pricing, industry trends, analysis, data analytics.  

Other Requirements  

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience. Experience working with a variety of people ranging from individual contributor engineers, senior executives, and supporting teams within Microsoft, as well as business decision makers and IT leadership within our customers and partners. Experience with technical design and strategically thinking about business needs, and opportunities. Experience with communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and presentation skills.

Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
