Our team, Xbox’s Platform & Experiences Commerce (XPC) team, seeks to empower game creators to reach and engage players to successfully monetize their games, everywhere.
To deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager who can deliver visionary thinking, ability to drive cross-organization and cross-geo collaboration to get this vision shipped to our players and creators.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how the gaming industry and game creators monetize and transact and a growth mindset in how we build our commerce platform for the future of game monetization in addition to prior working with creators to adopt new services and capabilities. They will remain laser focused on business outcomes and, ultimately, delivering the right solution for Xbox and our creators and players.

Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and vision that aligns with Microsoft’s gaming goals. Drive product innovation and differentiation within the games industry.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively internally and externally with game creators, while partnering closely with engineering, marketing, business, and partnership teams to deliver coordinated high impact products. Manage relationships and ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Inclusive Leadership: Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of all team members. Promote an atmosphere where different perspectives are respected and considered in decision-making.
Executive Communication: Demonstrate excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status and key insights.
Industry Expertise: Bring a deep understanding of the games industry and the long-term evolution of the Game Monetization space. Use this knowledge to inform product strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience in management of complex cross-group, cross-business, cross-disciplinary projects. 2+ years experience working with game development teams, game liveops, game monetization roles OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/program management or game monetization OR equivalent experience. 5+ years experience working with game development teams, game liveops, or game monetization roles OR equivalent experience.In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry with a specific focus on game monetization and associated technologies. Track record for working with external companies, in partnership to achieve business goals and objects.
Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
