Microsoft Ads is the economic engine driving monetization of search and consumer services across Microsoft and its strategic partners. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager in Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA. Without advertising, retailers, manufacturers, and service providers would have no way to reach their potential consumers, and the world as we know it would not exist. Within advertising, digital media now surpasses all other forms of advertising, and within digital advertising, Search advertising is one of the largest, most effective, and most measurable channels with very few platforms that operate at this scale.We are at the heart of multi-billion-dollar Microsoft Ads business and are responsible for core algorithms and tools that drive the Marketplace.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work on a team that’s truly at the cutting edge of the AI/ML advances and deals with data at a scale that few companies on this planet do. This opportunity will allow you to define, build, and drive several marquee automation products for advertisers.
You will conceptualize and drive efforts to create intuitive features and solutions for advertisers that leverage the value of our AI offerings while driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of our monetization strategies.

Understanding user needs and gaps by doing opportunity analysis. Owning and articulating the roadmap for features and products that demonstrate empathy to customer scenarios.Dealing with ambiguity and driving clarity across teams. Defining goals to measure success and developing a differentiated value proposition for the area.Owning and driving end-to-end product lifecycle from product conception to development to launch.Partnering with a team of engineers and scientists to build, measure, learn, and iterate towards a successful solutionCollaborating across disciplines such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Business Development, and Legal to evangelize our work and drive go-to-market efforts.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.5+ years of Product Management experience working on products consumed by multiple internal and external customers where multiple needs are researched, analyzed, benchmarked and eventually balanced to achieve business goals.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product management or software development.
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year of experience working on Internet and consumer products.
1+ year of experience working in advertising industry and understanding of the dynamics between advertisers, agencies, ad networks, publishers, and users.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
