Since the launch of Microsoft M365 Copilot, we have been obsessed with how we can empower our customers by providing even better user experience. To accomplish that, one of the main areas we are investing in is model training. Obtaining high-quality data for training and evaluation is a critical component to success. With that mission, we are looking for an Senior Product Manager who can come and drive obtaining high-quality data.

Manage the data collection program with human feedback. This will include onboarding, managing, monitoring, and calibrating human judges, both external and internal. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch data collection projects. This will include prioritization, gathering requirements, authoring judging guidelines, and establishing criteria for success. Work closely with data scientists to get aligned and to course-correct as needed. Help them understand the process and quality of the data collected to ensure proper application of the data collected. Partner with annotation platform team to optimize the tools used for the quality of data and data collection efficiency. Identify unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of the data collection projects via quantitative (e.g., usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (e.g., customer usage, feedback channels of market and industry trends). Build trust for the program by working with privacy, security, and legal to ensure compliance of the program. Be the E2E owner for the data collection program. You have the authority to make it as high quality and as efficient as possible!

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to plan out and identify requirements and potential risks. Familiarity with AI, LLM, and model training (fine-tuning). Communication skill – clear and concise. Ability to tailor the discussion to different audiences. Data analyses skill – balance between attention to detail and being able to see the big picture. Drive to get things started, agility to course-correct as needed, and tenacity to get things done.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
