We are looking for a passionate product manager to help us envision and deliver boundary-less collaboration, new ways to connect people, improve communication, reduce friction, and facilitate collaboration across a wide range of business applications and corporate cultures.We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to drive innovation in Developer Experience for apps and extensions to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot.
This position offers the opportunity to partner with our 1P/3P ecosystem teams to develop a deep understanding of business requirements and user needs in specific industries. You will be responsible for coordinating product plans, building and managing roadmaps, designing features, and delivering them to unlock new markets for Microsoft Teams. This role is a mix of business analysis, product thinking, user-centric design, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement. It’s a high value role that’s both creative and technical with the opportunity to redefine how people work and collaborate.

Define and evolve the product vision for critical pieces of the Teams and Copilot Application Developer Experience. Help us evolve the products and services we build to help our customers and partners (your immediate customers) succeed. Partner with the Microsoft Teams application teams to understand their business goals, user needs, collect requirements, and synthesize product plans to deliver maximum impact across all areas. Understand the app developer’s journey in identifying addressable market, onboarding, building, testing, and debugging code during both the inner and outer loop development stages and ensure our tools and recommended flows cater to both. Deliver end-to-end product solutions, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience, and delivery of capabilities. Successfully validate and improve product solutions over time through measurement and experimentation. Manage dependencies across teams to ensure that features land on time with the required scope and quality. Engage with customers, partners, and internal preview users, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedback for your area. Regularly present new product plans, strategy, demos, competitive reviews, and more to the leadership team. Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap, as well as stay in sync with end-user features and service infrastructure. Define the content strategy, own and drive content creation, run and manage developer communities at scale – for Microsoft Teams and M365 Copilot. Become an SME in various best practices for building apps and extensions to Microsoft Teams and M365 Copilot and use those insights to align the team and prioritize investments improving SDLC for Teams & Copilot development.Other: Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.5+ years of relevant program or product management experience shipping features for developers and end-users. Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Ability to wear many hats and learn quickly, and the collaborative leadership skills to lead a change in direction when needed. Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are very welcome. Experience across the entire product lifecycle – from product inception to ship and the know-how required to lead your crew to realize your vision. Solid product management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a track record of managing complex projects with many partners. Solid written and verbal communication skills and a desire to create a collaborative team culture.Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
