As the Senior Product Manager you will help define the strategy for Microsoft Teams in Mobile for the Commercial audience, creating mechanisms for coherence across other verticals, partner teams, and our desktop clients. We are looking for product managers with a focus on high-craft mobile experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring that the product we are developing meets, and exceeds, the needs of customers and internal teams alike. This role requires a mix of product thinking, strategic thinking, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement.

Shape and execute a multi-year vision, strategy, and execution plan for Teams Mobile. Manage cross-functional partnerships and relationships with engineering, design, and research to establish a shared strategic framework, technical vision, plans, and roadmap. Champion core mobile investments and create robust surfaces for a coherent end-to-end experience wherever someone uses Teams. Lead key partnerships with a diverse set of teams and organizations to ensure the best Teams experience for customers. Envision and design experiences that delight customers, authoring detailed, crisp requirements and user stories for these experiences. Engage with customers, both directly and indirectly, in formal and informal settings to connect with them and understand their needs. Customer-focused with a track record of shipping innovative, user-friendly features. Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.Experience launching user-facing products. Experience mentoring team members and peers in product management. Experience in cross-team collaboration with experience managing complex projects and many partners. Experience using critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Design thinking and solid understanding of user experience possibilities. Experience making data-driven decisions.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
