Description
OverviewWindows powers billions of devices worldwide, and the Windows Insider Program is our engineering-led channel to our most passionate users—those who preview and shape the future of Windows.
We are hiring for a Senior Product Manager to lead tools and process development for internal validation to enhance our listening and quality systems, enabling Windows to ship new experiences and devices to the Windows Insider Program and beyond.
Additionally, you will own the strategy and execution for broad internal testing ensuring coverage, quality, and insights. . This role requires balancing technical depth, communication skills, and customer empathy. This includes understanding what features are coming to Insider channels, managing communications, and leveraging feedback and data to improve release confidence. You will partner across engineering, data science, and program teams to evolve how Windows validates and delivers features at scale.

Responsibilities
Define the future of how we leverage multiple internal release, publishing, telemetry, and data systems to improve how features are released at scale. Collaborate across engineering, data science, PR, and marketing teams on disclosure and rollout of new features and hardware enablement. Define and track metrics for program health, effectiveness, and customer trust. Embody our culture and values.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to influence without authority across engineering, data science, and leadership, utilizing written and spoken communication skills.Demonstrated analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions and measure outcomes. Technical knowledge of large-scale software systems, platform engineering, or developer tools.Experience delivering end-user applications, including UI/UX design and iterative development post-release. Proven experience creating and scaling customer feedback programs. Experience engaging with technical communities and communicating with executive stakeholders.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
