Teams Phone significantly contributes to Microsoft's success by implementing features and scenarios that empower customers and users to communicate via voice.

In your capacity as a Product Manager II on the Teams Phone team, you will be responsible for overseeing critical scenarios that enable customers to communicate effortlessly across both PSTN and VoIP platforms. Your focus will be directed towards improving the user experience and expanding product capabilities through the effective use of AI technologies.

This role requires driving clarity in ambiguous spaces, connecting multiple investments across various teams, and ensuring end-to-end experiences for enterprise customers. You will partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to deliver innovative calling features that meet global compliance and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver product strategy for Teams Phone features such as call routing, auto-attendants, and AI-powered calling experiences.Own feature lifecycle from ideation through GA, including requirements, prioritization, dependencies, and success metrics.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and partner teams to ensure seamless integration with Teams Premium and Admin Center.Use data-driven insights (telemetry, customer feedback) to inform decisions and validate hypotheses.Champion customer needs by engaging with enterprise customers and incorporating feedback into roadmap planning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications:Solid analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, or similar UCaaS solutions.Experience with VoIP, PSTN, or telephony systems and enterprise communication platforms.Experience driving AI-powered features or integrations.Ability to work autonomously and lead through ambiguity.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
