We are building intelligent clinical assistant technologies—including Dragon Copilot—that transform the way clinicians work, reduce cognitive burden, and improve patient outcomes. To accelerate early stage innovation in Dragon Copilot, we are hiring a Senior Principal Product Manager, Dragon Early Stage Innovation, who will lead the discovery, incubation, and validation of new clinical workflows, interaction models, and global-market concepts.

Responsibilities

Identify unmet clinician jobs to be done by deeply understanding real world clinical challenges, pain points, cognitive load, and workflow gaps. Validate needs through qualitative and quantitative methods.Work hand in hand with UX researchers and designers to conceptualize, iterate, and test new experiences, prototypes, and interaction paradigms for Dragon Copilot.Assess and test concepts across global markets to ensure workflows, data expectations, compliance models, and usability meet international customer needs.Defining market opportunity and TAM in partnership with Product MarketingConduct competitive analysis, ecosystem scans, problem sizing, and TAM estimation for new incubation areas to guide investment decisions and focus areas.Identify technical, research, and architectural challenges and partner with engineering and applied research teams to evaluate feasibility, unblock constraints, and shape the innovation roadmap.Transform early concepts into clear, evidence-backed problem definitions, prototypes, and recommendation documents that inform broader Dragon Copilot roadmap decisions.Collaborate closely with clinicians, UX, engineering, research, product marketing, privacy/compliance teams, and international field stakeholders to ensure clear priorities, feasibility, and alignment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human Centered Design, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in product management with significant ownership of zero to one product discovery, concept incubation, or early stage product shaping for technical products.Demonstrated ability to deeply understand clinician workflows and translate jobs to be done into product requirements and prototypes.Proven experience working closely with UX and engineering teams to design, experiment, and validate new interaction models or workflow concepts.Experience conducting market analysis, TAM sizing, and identifying high value opportunity areas.Proficient analytical and strategic thinking skills; capable of synthesizing ambiguous inputs into clear product direction.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross functional teams.Familiarity with healthcare data, clinical context, or EHR related workflows.Experience building or validating healthcare AI, clinical assistant tools, or workflow automation products.Exposure to international healthcare markets, regulatory considerations, and localization requirements.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary incubation efforts across research, engineering, and product teams.Experience working with applied AI teams to assess feasibility of new generative or context aware interaction models.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
