The Senior Product Manager- AI Core Infrastructure has both customer facing and responsible for defining and delivering cloud-native, Kubernetes-based efficiencies that reduce COGS (Cost-of-Goods-Sold) and improve performance, scale and utilization of cloud computing resources for AI at scale.
The Senior Product Manager- AI Core Infrastructure will own and run cross-functional programs and develop close customer and internal stakeholder relationships across feature and product teams. The role is at front and center with the world’s leading brands representing the AI platform core engineering team in support of their digital journey, empowering customers to accelerate their value and achieve more.

The role involves collaborating closely with key customers, partners, and feature teams to solve complex platform problems at scale.
Define and deliver product features and enhancements that reduce COGS and improve performance, scale and utilization of Azure AI Platform and associated products including Azure OpenAI Engage with key customers and partners to understand their needs and challenges and provide feedback and guidance on best practices and solutions Collaborate with feature and product teams across AI Platform and Azure to align on vision, roadmap, priorities and dependencies Drive technical excellence and quality standards for product development and delivery Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, engineering, research, marketing, sales and support Monitor and measure the impact and value of product features and enhancements and drive continuous improvementEmbody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience3+ years of experience in cloud native platform technology like Kubernetes Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in product management collaborating with customers and partners delivering AI and/or cloud services  2+ years of practical experience in deploying and scaling Docker-based AI models and applications Azure cloud platform experience preferred Prior hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) such as OpenAI and others, Azure AI, Azure ML or their equivalent is highly preferred  Customer focus and a deep commitment to delivering products that create customer value and delightful experiences  Enterprise customer and partner engagement skills including ability to create a delivery plan, track progress, and resolve issues, risks, and blockers as they arise  Effective communication skills with a broad range of audiences and ability to influence without authority  A high tolerance for ambiguity and change  Outstanding problem solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challenges  Experience with enterprise solutions and a deep technical understanding of software and hardware 
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
