Description

Microsoft Intune is the industry’s leading cloud-based endpoint management solution, empowering organizations to embrace remote work through simple and secure management of the complete set of their endpoints.Microsoft Intune Core Platform Services are the foundational set of services that Intune uses to manage and secure hundreds of millions of devices and process over a billion daily device check ins with the service. The Core Platform Services team is responsible for ensuring service adherence to industry regulations, developing capacity planning for cloud deployment models, enabling near real time communication with devices, and providing granular controls for console administration, amongst many others.
We are looking for a technical Senior Product Manager with demonstrated excellence in delivering highly available, performant at scale services. You’ll craft a vision to transform our Core Services to enable Intune device management for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era. As a member of the Intune Core Platform team, you’ll work closely with many engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges. You’ll focus on scaling our infrastructure to enable near real time device communication at the scale of hundreds of millions of devices, while harvesting the data that will enable our future solutions. And you’ll find innovate ways to address challenges in regulated environments.
The successful candidate will have a passion for building services that are secure, highly scalable, and resilient. They will have empathy for both customers and engineering teams that create solutions on top of their platform services. They are highly effective in managing complex long-running projects. They will demonstrate initiative, especially in ambiguous areas with unclear ownership. They’ll already have effective communication skills and a proven ability to align different teams to drive ambiguous initiatives with a high degree of clarity and speed.
Address complex technical challenges across service latency, grouping and targeting, granular administrative controls, and adherence to industry regulations. Engage a broad set of customers to collect and clearly document requirements. Prioritize roadmaps to meet these needs. Understand the variety of customer and solution team scenarios in Intune, and define standard personas and tasks to enumerate requirements against. Create metrics to measure the impact of core platform innovations across a variety or workstreams. Advocate and champion core platform initiatives across engineering and field teams. Clearly articulate roadmap and product vision to engineers, executives, and customers alike. Build collaborative relationships with partners across the company with a ONE Microsoft growth mindset. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experienceOther requirements

These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
