The Azure Security organization is responsible for securing the entire Azure stack and protecting our customers. We offer cloud-scale services and monitoring agents to ensure the platform’s security. As cyber threats evolve, we develop advanced detection capabilities to identify, investigate, and automatically neutralize sophisticated attacks and data breaches.

We are looking for a Principal Product Management Manager who is passionate about building and nurturing a highly talented group of Security Product Managers and Security Analysts to enable them to build defenses against large-scale cyber-attacks. Lead a team of outstanding product managers and security Analysts.Collaborate with Security Research and Engineering teams to build detection strategies to protect Azure.Develop detections to identify threat actor activities and evict them from the environment before they cause damage to the Azure platform.Collaborate with Security teams across Microsoft to deliver excellence through strategy, execution, and delivery.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product or program managementOR equivalent experience.4+ years of people management experience. 2+ years of experience in security.Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Solid technical knowledge of cloud security solutions for large-scale environments

Additional or preferred qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years people management experience.Written and verbal communication/presentation skills at all levels of the organization, technical and non‐technical.Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver high-impact results.Experience as a key contributor towards designing, shipping, and operating large-scale, cloud services.Experience in building and growing diverse teams with strong people development skills.Project management, leadership, and cross‐group collaboration skills.Proven ability to prioritize, plan, and execute.Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
