Description
Microsoft Azure AI Portal Platform is seeking a Product Lead to drive the development of AI infrastructure that empowers all product teams within Azure Portal. This role is part of the Azure Experiences & Ecosystems (AX&E) team, which is responsible for delivering user-facing features and experiences for Azure.As the Product Lead, Azure AI Portal Platform, you will be responsible for building and scaling AI infrastructure that enables product teams across Azure to create AI-driven experiences. You will lead and manage a team of product managers, ensuring they are aligned with the overall AI platform strategy and execution. This role requires strong leadership and mentorship skills to foster a high-performing product management team. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to define and execute a comprehensive AI platform strategy that supports Azure's growth and enhances customer experiences. This role reports to the VP of Product for AX&E.

In collaboration, you will define the vision and strategic roadmap for the Azure AI Portal Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.You will ead the end-to-end product lifecycle for the AI platform, from ideation to launch, including feature prioritization, requirements gathering, and execution.You will oversee the implementation of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and privacy frameworks to ensure compliance and trust in AI solutions.You will partner with cross-functional teams on shared goals, ensuring AI capabilities are seamlessly integrated across Azure’s ecosystem.You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure AI platform adoption, efficiency, and impact.You will mplement best practices in AI model performance monitoring, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree AND 8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related fieldOR equivalent experience in AI and Cloud Technologies.4+ years people management experience.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Professional Experience:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years people management experience.Experience in AI infrastructure, machine learning frameworks, or cloud-based AI solutions.Leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally across engineering, design, and business teams, managing and driving performance and growth.
Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
