Description

Come join our dynamic Microsoft Copilot for Sales team as a Product Designer where you will have the opportunity to create intuitive and impactful user experiences. As part of this team, you’ll contribute to transforming how business users interact with Microsoft’s third cloud—moving from traditional systems of record to cutting-edge productivity tools, leveraging AI and GPT technologies.

The Copilot for Sales team is transforming the way business users work—allowing them to focus on building relationships with customers, empowering them to take data driven actions, and optimizing their time for impact. Contribute to high-quality design efforts: Assist in the creation of visual and interaction designs, ensuring they meet the team’s high standards for usability and aesthetics. Develop user-centered designs: Participate in the design process from ideation to final implementation, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals. Collaborate across teams: Work with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure cohesive and well-integrated product experiences. Learn and grow: Receive mentorship from senior designers while actively participating in design critiques, research, and team discussions to refine your skills and contribute to team goals. Support the development of interaction models: Help identify scenarios that improve user experiences, contributing to the creation of interaction models that simplify complex tasks.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing) in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field. OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or curretnly pursuing) in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 2+ years related work experience working in product or service design. OR Master's Degree (or currently pursuing) in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 1+ year(s) relevant internship/work experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems). Other Requirements:

Experience or familiarity with AI/ML technologies in design.Interest in enterprise products or experience with CRM, Sales solutions, or similar fields. Experience or interest in learning about design systems and how they scale across products. Basic understanding of front-end development including HTML, CSS, and React is beneficial. The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to specialized security screenings such as the Microsoft Cloud Background Check. For this position, you’ll be required to pass the background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.

Product Design IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.
