We’re looking for a Product Designer II to join the Identity and Network Access Design team and help build the future of Entra admin center. This person is part designer, technologist, storyteller, and entrepreneur—sitting at the intersection of business, experience, and technology. They ask “What if?”—then make it real. Responsibilities
Design core experiences – craft visual, interaction, and product patterns that are polished, inclusive, and forward-looking, setting a strong foundation for user experience.Prototype in code – bring concepts to life through interactive demos that showcase new interaction patterns and AI-enabled capabilities.AI as a new material – run rapid experiments with LLMs, AI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and related foundational AI technologies; and distill learnings into well-documented insights for the team and articulated opportunities for product augmentation.Tell stories – script, storyboard, and produce short-form videos, demos, or internal videos that make vision and behavior clear to both technical and nontechnical audiences, inspiring and energizing partners.Validate and influence – test and iterate concepts with UX Research, partners, and stakeholders; share insights that shape product roadmaps.Champion prototyping & collaboration – drive rapid prototyping, user testing, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate learning.Collaborate to ship – work with Design, PM, Engineering, and Research to deliver end-to-end design and evolve prototypes into production using both existing and emerging technologies.Build what doesn’t exist – create small tools, scripts, or workflows that upskill the team, accelerate the design process, and expand what’s possible.
Qualifications
Education/Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic/Product/Visual Design, HCI, or related field AND 3+ years’ experience in product or service design and/or shipping production code; OR equivalent experience.Design – 3+ years’ experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with a portfolio of high-quality artifacts that demonstrate end-to-end design process experience, including shipping products or delivering services.Development – 3+ years’ experience building with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, and Python; familiarity with React and/or Web Components for prototyping or production.Applied AI – 2+ years’ experience applying generative AI (including LLMs and agent-based systems) to real products or prototypes, with knowledge of patterns, constraints, evaluation methods, and integration into user experiences.Collaboration – strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines (Design, PM, Engineering, Research).Portfolio & code — Online portfolio showcasing your work across design, development, storytelling, and emerging tech, plus code samples with links to your GitHub or CodePen that demonstrate your development work.Documented experience in Enterprise UX Preferred, not required:
Education/Experience – Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic/Product/Visual Design, HCI, or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.Storytelling & narrative – ability to shape concepts into narratives, storyboard interactions, and produce/edit videos.Motion design – background in motion design/animation for richer storytelling.Tooling mindset – experience building scripts, plugins, or tools that extend workflows and accelerate prototyping.Startup experience – experience working in a fast-paced, 0–1 startup or incubation environment.Documented experience in Security
Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
